What FastQuote is

FastQuote is an AI-assisted quoting tool for tradespeople. You photograph a job, FastQuote produces a draft quote, and you finalise and send it to your client. It is provided by Harry Doyle (sole trader, trading as "FastQuote"), based in the United Kingdom.

Signup and account

Accounts are created via Google sign-in. By signing up you confirm you are at least 18, that you intend to use FastQuote in the course of your trade or business, and that you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Data Processing Agreement as the same version that was current when you signed in. We record the version and timestamp against your account so we both know what you agreed to.

Subscription and billing

FastQuote is offered at £19.99 per month after a 1-month no-card trial. Pricing and payment terms appear before any card is collected. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are at our discretion within seven days of payment.

Your data, your clients' data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into FastQuote. When you upload information about your end clients (homeowners, businesses), you are the data controller and FastQuote is your processor — see our Data Processing Agreement for the formal terms.

You confirm, when you upload

You have the right to upload photographs of the property and any details about the end client (typically because you are quoting for them under a verbal or written agreement).
You will inform your end client that a digital tool is used to prepare quotes. A brief verbal mention is sufficient; no signed waiver required.
You do not upload data that is unrelated to a genuine quote (e.g. photos of unconnected third parties, sensitive identification documents).

Your responsibility for accuracy

FastQuote produces AI-generated suggestions. You must review, confirm, and adjust every measurement, material quantity, labour estimate, and cost figure before the quote leaves the system. Your professional judgement is the final authority — FastQuote is a tool, not a replacement for it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FastQuote is not liable for: errors in AI-generated content; losses arising from a quote you sent to a client; service interruptions; or consequential loss. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period (and is zero during the free trial). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. fraud, personal injury caused by negligence).

Acceptable use

Use FastQuote only for its intended purpose: generating professional quotes for legitimate trade work. Do not attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its operation.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms after reasonable notice (except in cases of fraud or serious misuse, where notice may be immediate).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; when we do, we increment the version and update the signup acceptance flow. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new version. We will notify you by email of material changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
